Felix is a Managing Director with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors (“Rubicon”) and is based in the London office. He heads global private placement and debt capital markets for the firm across all infrastructure, energy & utilities sectors working closely with the M&A and debt advisory teams.
Felix has over 16 years of experience in the financial markets, having most recently been a partner at Chalkhill Partners LLP from 2017 to 2018. At Chalkhill, he ran the infrastructure origination and distribution platform responsible for securing debt placement and advisory mandates and sourcing institutional investors. His sector focus was on real assets including core infrastructure, social housing and utilities. Previously he was a Director at ANZ heading up their European debt capital markets business focusing on large multinational corporates. Here Felix executed cross border debt transactions across Europe, US, Asia and Australia. He spent 8 years at RBC Capital Markets from 2006 to 2014 where he was responsible for European corporate and infrastructure debt capital markets with geographic coverage including UK, Germany, France, Spain and Scandinavia.
Felix started his career in corporate treasury working for Omnicom Finance plc dealing foreign exchange. He then moved to International Power plc as a treasury manager where he ran the interest rate hedging function focusing on project financing.
Felix has a degree in Economics and Finance from University of Adelaide in Australia.
