Nick is a Managing Director with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors (“Rubicon”) and is based in the New York office. His focus within the firm ranges from corporate finance to project finance and private placements across the energy and sustainability sectors globally.
Nick has over 15 years of experience in the energy finance industry, having raised more than USD $2 billion in capital. He previously served as a Managing Director and Head of Corporate & Private Placements at CohnReznick Capital (CRC). Prior to CRC, Nick was a Managing Director at Ambata Capital Partners, an international advisory firm and family office, where he worked on transactions spanning a dozen countries.
Before this, Nick was Chief Operating Officer at Hudson Clean Energy Partners, a private equity firm, and helped establish and manage their inaugural USD $1 billion AUM fund. He joined Hudson from Credit Suisse, where he was a Director with the investment bank. Nick began his career in energy finance within Enron North America’s power group.
Nick is a member of the Bloomberg New Energy Pioneer Award selection committee, an advisor to the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE), a member of the Waterkeeper Alliance Leadership Circle and a member of the Advisory Board for the Colorado School of Mines’ Payne Institute.
Nick served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as an officer and pilot. He received an MBA from McGill University and an honors Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Western Ontario.
