Rubicon has successfully advised global clients on a variety of environmental transactions involving water desalination, water treatment and utilization of waste conversion and commercial recovery technologies.

We provide clients unique opportunities to acquire and or finance both operating assets and companies as well as invest in greenfield developments. Rubicon has worked with clients focused on the environmental sector to garner greater equity capacity to grow, access to lower cost equity and investigate the potential to source other forms of revenue. We have raised capital through deep relationships with institutional investors, infrastructure funds and sovereign wealth funds interested in diversifying their environmental portfolios and taking their investments to the next level.

Team members have successfully closed numerous water infrastructure transactions across the globe leveraging our combined industry experience and deep relationships with investors.

We are seeing a momentum as investors turn towards these emerging environmental technologies.

In the water sector, wastewater treatment assets can generate significant benefits for public health, the environment and ancillary economic sectors. Protecting water resources from pollution and managing water supply and demand in a sustainable manner can deliver clear benefits for both investors and end water users. Investments in managing water resources are going to be increasingly needed in the context of increasing water scarcity at the global level. At the same time, we see the waste market move towards "hybrid" project. These are projects which utilize private, specialist fuel supply such as refuse derived fuel, commercial and industrial waste and waste wood. These projects tend to utilize new advanced conversion technologies and include specialist sub sectors like anaerobic digestion.

Rubicon has worked on a number of projects with environmental focused clients. We work to understand the asset and the public objectives of the project and we are uniquely positioned to serve the public entities and private partners responsible for planning, maintaining, and developing infrastructure for environmental purposes.
